Welcome back to everyone. We hope you have had a lovely Christmas and would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. Also a big thank you to you all for the lovely Christmas cards and gifts we received.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
Spring term begins: Mon 5th January
Half term: Mon 16th - Sat 21st February
Easter holidays: Mon 6th - Sat 18th April
Spring term ends: Sat 5th April

Ballet, Modern and Tap exams will take place during the last week of term. We will let you know the exact dates once we receive them from the ISTD.

CONGRATULATIONS
Firstly a huge well done to Eric Dibb-Fuller who you may remember was down to the last few boys in the auditions for the west end production of Oliver. Eric got the part of the Artful Dodger and began rehearsing just before Christmas. Also, congratulations to Jasmine and Eden Panayi who successfully auditioned for the English Youth Ballet. Keep your eyes on the notice board for dates of both performances. Finally well done to all those who participated in local Pantomimes over the Christmas period.

OFFICE HOURS
There will always be someone on reception at the studio. However if you have any queries that you would like to discuss in more detail, please call the office on Brighton 273522 between 10.00am and 1pm on Monday,Tuesday or Wedenesday, or leave a message and somebody will call you back. The studio number is 01273 688991 and will be answered daily between 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

FEES
Please note that the spring term fees and all exam and extra class fees are due in by Monday 5th January. If you make payment before this date, please remember to deduct your £10.00 credit charge. It cannot be stressed enough how time consuming it is to have to chase fees - often right up to and beyond the end of term. Therefore if you have a problem paying your fees please contact the office where the matter can be discussed sympathetically, otherwise it may be necessary, in future, to raise the fees in order to pay the extra administration costs and withdraw pupils from exams.

UNIFORM AND PUNCTUALITY
It has been noticed recently that many of the older pupils are arriving at the studio unprepared and often late for their class. It is the pupils' responsibility to equip themselves with the appropriate hair accessories and correct uniform. If you do arrive late for any reason, please be respectful to your class mates and wait for a pause in the music, before knocking and entering.

PARKING
I am pleased to say we have not had any more complaints about parking or noise levels in Howard Road, so a big thank you to everyone for taking notice of this request. Please continue not to leave your car unattended whilst double parked.

SAFETY REMINDER
Please continue to remind your child not to obstruct or leave items on the stairs. The reception area can become extremely busy at times and accidents can be avoided by adhering to this request.

We wish you all a happy and succesful term at the Academy.
