Happy New Year! Thank you for your gifts and cards.
Hopefully there won’t be too much snow...but please check our website as we will keep
you updated of any closures and re-opening times in this way. We will always try to make up missed classes.
Congratulations to Millie Balackyi and Molly Garrood for their performance in the Southern Youth Ballet production
of ‘The Nutcracker’. Also to Morgan Bull who appeared in the English Youth Ballet production of ‘The Nutcracker’.
Congratulations to Ruby Phelan who has won a scholarship to the Brighton Dance Diversion Summer School and to
Beany Pearce playing Tiger Lily in ‘Peter Pan’ at Worthing Congress Theatre. Finally, well done to Jodie Lawson and
Poppy Nunan for successfully auditioning for the ‘Peter Pan’ Panto.

Spring term begins: Tues 3rd January
Half term: Mon 13th Feb – Sat 18th Feb
Spring term ends: Sat 31st March
NB. Miss Rachel is unable to teach on
Monday 20th Feb. so classes will be held
on Monday 13th Feb.

FEES
Please be careful not add the £10 credit charge if you are
paying within the due date.
NB. There are no discounts on Exam Fees, Exam Extra Classes or
Associate Classes.
So that we don’t chase you for unpaid fees for the Spring Term
we would appreciate a phone call to the office as soon as possible
if you are not returning to the Academy.
Please write your child’s name on the back of your cheque,
and when returning the fee slip please add your email address
if you have one so that we are fully up to date. Thank You.
AUDITIONS & EVENTS
Information is displayed on the Small Studio door to keep you informed of upcoming news etc.
SUMMER SHOW 2012 AT THE WINDMILL
THEATRE BLATCHINGTON MILL SCHOOL
FRIDAY 20th & SATURDAY 21st JULY.
This will involve all pupils from Reception Class
upwards.
Please make a note of these dates and please be
aware of the Technical Rehearsal dates:
Wednesday 18th & Thursday 19th July (pm).
Exact times to be confirmed.
DRAMA CLASSES
If you are interested in joining a Drama Group (age 8 upwards), please contact the office.

RECEPTION
Our Receptionists are on duty each day from 3.30pm until 6.30pm, plus Saturday mornings from 8.30am – 12.30pm. They will always make sure the door is properly closed when they leave. Having said this, please take care of your valuables when coming to class. If you have iphones etc. please switch them off and take them into class with you.
AND FINALLY
It is extremely important that nobody double parks whilst leaving their vehicle unattended. We have had many, understandable,
complaints from our neighbours regarding this issue and I cannot
stress highly enough the need to totally respect the residents of
Howard Road at all times.
